Trial over the face-mask scheme: Aldama links Sánchez, Ábalos and Koldo before the Supreme Court

On the first day of testimony Víctor de Aldama accused the Supreme Court of cash payments and financing to the PSOE, said he carried up to €250,000 in a backpack and linked Pedro Sánchez; the PSOE denies it and announces appeals.

The trial at the Supreme Court examines the accusations of a scheme around face-mask contracts where Key people (Sánchez, Ábalos, Koldo, Aldama) appear as defendants or are mentioned by the businessman Key people (Sánchez, Ábalos, Koldo, Aldama).

Víctor de Aldama, identified as a commission agent / fixer, testified that he handed over Kickbacks (bribes) in cash and monthly payments, and pointed out that some of those amounts were linked to the Illegal party financing.

The investigations cited by the UCO (Central Operative Unit) and the prosecution, supported by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, focus on public awards and procedures for Tenders and public contracts, including contracts managed by State Ports.

The case also addresses parallel operations such as the sale of masks by the company involved and public intervention in companies like Air Europa and public bailout, as well as possible awards managed close to the SEPI.

The PSOE, based at Ferraz (PSOE headquarters), denies the accusations and announces legal action for defamation while the use of Disposable phones / secure lines and other operational practices are investigated in court.
