1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Unbubble News (the “Service”). The consumer product has wound down: the website shows a farewell notice and lets you read previously generated, anonymous analyses. Two automated analysis pipelines remain operational — an embedded analysis service for partner publishers (“Compass”) and a press-review analysis service — and operate under separate arrangements with those partners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. No accounts

The Service no longer offers user accounts or sign-in. You can access the website and read available analyses without registering. Features that previously required an account — including saving content, the hosted browser extension, messaging bots, and email forwarding — have been retired.

4. Partner analysis pipelines

Content analyzed by the Compass and press-review pipelines is supplied by partner publishers or press-monitoring services, under separate arrangements. If you submit content to those pipelines, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of submitted content and process it strictly to operate the pipelines.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, including harassment or discrimination;
• attempt to bypass security features, rate limits, or access controls;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g., by automated scraping, denial of service, or malicious input);
• use the Service to generate or distribute misinformation knowingly or to impersonate others;
• reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law. This does not prevent analysis, critique, or discussion of misinformation for educational, journalistic, or research purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are violating these Terms or if your use creates risk for the Service or third parties.

6. Analyses, AI limitations, and no reliance

The Service generates analyses using automated AI systems from third-party providers. Analyses may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect. You are solely responsible for verifying information using primary sources and your own judgment.

The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice (including legal, medical, financial, or journalistic advice).

7. Sharing and public links

Analyses can be viewed via a link. Anyone with the link may be able to access the analysis. You are responsible for whom you share links with.

8. Interactive exploration

When you explore an analysis interactively (for example, selecting a stance or rating arguments), your selections are kept only in your own browser and are not submitted to or stored by us. Participation is voluntary.

9. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and design. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or organizational use.

Third-party content referenced in an analysis remains the property of its respective owners. The Service may display extracted metadata (e.g., title and image) and generated analyses related to that content.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, infrastructure hosting, AI model providers, and email delivery). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms. See the Privacy Policy for details about our main service providers.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law (including mandatory consumer protections).

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, content you submit, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will publish updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
