Former sports official trapped by a deepfake and accused of sexual conduct toward a "minor"
A creator used a deepfake to trap Dominique Bouvet, a former sports official, who makes suggestive remarks toward an "adolescent." Already convicted in 2025, he was placed in police custody.
1
The video shown online uses an AI deepfake created by Finnyzyy to make it appear there was an exchange with an adolescent, and the trap was broadcast by a TikToker aiming to expose predatory behavior.
2
The man filmed, identified as Dominique Bouvet, is a former local sports official known in the area (former member of the CDOS and president of an UNSS federation) and in the video he makes sexually suggestive remarks toward the fake minor.
3
The local press, notably L'Est Républicain, recalls that Dominique Bouvet had already been convicted and placed under probationary suspended sentence in 2025 for possession and transmission of pornographic images involving minors.
4
After the broadcast and reactions, Dominique Bouvet went to the police station, was placed in police custody, and the institutional response came from the CNOSF which described the acts as potentially of utmost gravity.
5
In the video the former official asks the (fake) young girl about sending photos via Snapchat, an element that refers to contact and image-exchange practices often examined by investigators and local media.
What position do you feel closer to?
Protecteurs des mineurs
Dominique Bouvet's behavior is gravely pedocriminal and must be firmly punished, especially after a prior conviction in 2025.
Critiques des pièges deepfake
Pedocriminality must be combated firmly, but streamers' deepfake traps blur the line between investigation and spectacle, to the detriment of the rule of law and public liberties.
